That made fans sit up straight, given Trish is a well-known superhero in her own right over in the comics, who has long gone by the codename Hellcat and even starred in her own series....

Following up its report earlier in the week of the massive $1.5 million iPad heist at New York’s JFK airport, the New York Post is now reporting that a JFK worker has been nabbed for involvement the crime. This heist interestingly took place in the same cargo hold as the 1978 Lufthansa heist in the movie “GoodFellas”. The man accused, Renel Rene Richardson, was said to have made “suspicious inquiries to co-workers about the gadget shipment and where forklifts might be found, according to court papers....

Apple’s Jony Ive has served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Design for several years now, but Apple has announced today that the executive is being named Chief Design Officer (a newly-created position). Additionally, Ive and will be handing the managerial reins of both the industrial and software design units at Apple over to two new leaders on July 1st. Richard Howarth will become VP of Industrial Design and focus on hardware....

John Carpenter’s resume includes many classics, but his 1995 Lovecraftian horror effort In the Mouth of Madness doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Last week, a report emerged claiming that Apple Music’s Jimmy Iovine was planning to depart the company come August. Jackson, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 50, was notorious for often-bizarre celebrity behavior, which led in later years to large-scale sexual abuse scandals. The hype is red hot for Joker, which is poised to rule the October box office as fan interest is firmly behind the film’s release. Joaquin Phoenix has already overcome initial skepticism and hailed by critics and fans as a worthy actor to portray this enormously popular super villain, so much so that you’d be forgiven if you forgot we had another Joker very recently in the DCEU. This version, played by Jared Leto, was met with a polarized response....

Warner Bros. upcoming DC film Joker contains at least one reference to the DCEU, and more specifically Batman v Superman. Under the direction of Todd Phillips, Joker sees Joaquin Phoenix tackle the role of the mentally unstable Arthur Fleck, who over the course of the film becomes Gotham City’s Clown Prince of Crime known as The Joker. The film recently premiered at the Venice Film Festival, with Phoenix’s performance already receiving Oscar buzz....

Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro opened up about “outgrowing” his ex, Jen Harley. The two hotheads have finally seemed to see the light and realize they are just not good together. Ortiz-Magro and Harley have called it quits once again, this time claiming it’s for good. The couple first met back in 2017 and most recently they broke up in early September - only to get back together within two weeks. Both have had a history of turning on one another, with Harley physically assaulting him with her car and now Ronnie allegedly running after her with a knife....

Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro reportedly threatened to kill his girlfriend, Jen Harley. Their fights have been escalating over the past year and seem to have come to a head with Ronnie’s arrest. The MTV nation has had every reason to worry about Ortiz-Magro as he ventured through a dark and often antagonistic relationship with Harley. This unfortunate incident is not the first time things have become physical between the two, as Harley was previously charged for assault after dragging Ronnie with her car and giving him a black eye in New Jersey....

Two companies have announced plans to adopt new Apple technologies coming this fall with iOS 11. Jibestream says it will work with clients to provide indoor mapping data to Apple Maps which is new to iOS 11, and Branding Brand says it plans to use ARKit to build augmented reality experiences for retail apps. Indoor mapping has long been a rumored feature for Apple Maps and is finally coming with iOS 11 alongside speed limit support and lane guidance....
