Next February sees the release of John Wick: Chapter Two, a sequel to the sleeper hit John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves as a recently widowed assassin who comes out of retirement to avenge his murdered dog. As silly as that premise might sound, it made for a killer action flick, bringing out the best in Reeves. Not much is known about the sequel so far, but we do know that John will be getting back in action again to take down more deadly killers in Rome....

Martin Scorsese admits that he has not seen Joker yet. Scorsese of course made major waves last year when he leveled harsh criticism at comic book films and specifically Marvel movies, which he claimed are not cinema. A legendary director thanks to classics like Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas, Scorsese is currently garnering major Oscar buzz for his epic film The Irishman, which runs for over three hours and utilizes state-of-the-art CGI technology to de-age many of its actors....

Since its debut in 2013 with Man of Steel, the DC Extended Universe has been personified by its serious, gritty tone. A Quiet Place star and director John Krasinski has confirmed the creatures seen in the movie are from space. A Quiet Place follows a family trying to survive in the wake of an invasion of monsters who hunt by sound; to stay alive, the family live in near total silence. It’s a great hook for a horror movie, and Krasinski is able to wring every ounce of tension he can from the setup....
