The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay will helm Warner Bros.’ Jonny Quest movie, which was originally set to be directed by Robert Rodriguez. Plot details for the upcoming movie were reported a few years back, and indicated that the film would be faithful to its original source material. Terry Rossio, Dan Mazaeu and Robert Rodriguez all took a crack at the script at one time. The company explained during this morning’s media event that the EarPods are three years in the making. Apple has yet to post the video of the full iPhone 5/iPod event, but now we get a look at a video played during the presentation. It features Jony Ive explaining the process of creating the new earbuds. In addition to the engineering process described by Ives above, Apple explained on its website that it tested over 100 prototypes to make the EarPods more durable and stable than its previous-generation earphones:

Jodie Whittaker’s first Doctor Who panel at San Diego Comic-Con is now live online. That’s right: fans can now watch the panel in its entirety to get a sneak peek at season 11 of the long-running sci-fi TV show. Whittaker made headlines last year when the BBC announced her as the first female Doctor for the series.
