The horror anthology series will be making its return this September on FX, with the newest installment subtitled Apocalypse. The show has told a separate story every season, but this time around, characters from the first season (subtitled Murder House) and the third season (Coven) will make their return in Apocalypse. Shea Whigham has revealed some details about his character in the Joaquin Phoenix-headlined Joker movie. The film takes place in 1980s Gotham City and explores what the Clown Prince of Crime’s life was like, back when he was simply a failed comedian named Arthur (Phoenix). Production has been underway on the DC comic book adaptation for more than a month now, with Todd Phillips (The Hangover trilogy, War Dogs) calling the shots from an original script that he cowrote with Scott Silver (The Fighter)....

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro took his daughter Ariana to Disneyland just days after his arrest. Todd Phillips’ highly-anticipated DC movie Joker premiered at Venice Film Festival this weekend, followed shortly by the embargo lifting reviews - and early signs are promising with a “Fresh” score of 85%. The film imagines an origin story for Batman’s greatest nemesis, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, a middle-aged man who lives with his mother and has a humiliating day job as a sign-spinning clown. A synopsis for an upcoming episode of The Flash confirms the return of Violett Beane’s Jesse Quick and John Wesley Shipp’s Jay Garrick. One of the most pleasant surprises in 2014 was John Wick, the critically acclaimed action film that gave Keanu Reeves the comeback role of a lifetime.
