One of the heads of Apple’s design group, Evans Hankey, is to leave the company, via Bloomberg. The former VP Industrial Design officially led Apple’s design team alongside software design chief Alan Dye, following the departure of Jony Ive in 2019. Bloomberg says Hankey told employees she will stay at the company for the next six months, before departing. Apple has not yet named a replacement for Hankey’s role. One possible candidate to assume the leadership hole is Richard Howarth, who briefly had the role of industrial design VP from 2015-2017, at the same time as when Jony Ive was ‘promoted’ to Chief Design Officer....

Jonah Hill was once known as the goofy friend in comedies before gradually transforming into one of the most dynamic actors working today. He has shown a great talent for picking bold and innovative projects which allow him to show new sides of his talents. Hill has mostly steered away from the bigger franchise movies and focused on collaborating with talented people. Even after rumors of an extended “Snyder Cut” of Justice League, Jesse Eisenberg confirms that no Lex Luthor scenes were cut from the movie. After playing the Big Bad of 2016’s Batman v Superman, Eisenberg cemented himself as Superman’s nemesis in the DCEU. While the post-credit scenes of Justice League saw the bald-headed billionaire escape from Arkham Asylum, it neatly set up his involvement in the future of the franchise or a possible Injustice League movie as he was seen sailing on a lavish yacht....

Kevin Feige confirms Jon Watts will return to direct Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. Marvel and Sony finally put their differences aside to do what’s best for Spider-Man a few years ago. The deal many never believed would happen saw Marvel and Sony come together to make new Spider-Man movies together. In order to do that, they rebooted the character for a third time, putting Tom Holland in the lead role and naming Cop Car’s Jon Watts as the director....

John Krasinski says he’s game to return for a reboot of The Office TV show. Reboot and revival mania is rampant across network television. Will & Grace returned to NBC late last year and has already been renewed for another season. The X-Files is already in the second season of its revival run on FOX. Twin Peaks returned on Showtime last year after more than 25 years on the sidelines. There are many more on the air and many more to come, including next month’s Roseanne return and revivals of such long-ago shows as Murphy Brown and Magnum P....

The company has already been testing the JioFiber across India and it will be rolled out in ten of India’s largest cities including Delhi and Noida. Reliance is apparently targeting gated community and multi-block apartments. As part of its second phase of expansion, Reliance expects to roll out the JioFiber across 100 locations and as we mentioned the high rise buildings will be targeted. Starting from June, Jio is expected to expand its trials for other cities and will commercially launch the service in October....

Sir Jony Ive is no stranger to winning accolades in the United Kingdom, including Knighthood and what not, but he seems to be taken aback today with the U.K.’s highest children’s award, the Blue Peter badge. After getting the award, Ive showed the presenter Apple’s pure aluminum CNC machines (that no doubt have crafted lots of current and future Apple products) in the process of making a much bigger version of the award for the BBC....
